Odenton Woman Grabbed By Armed Robber

Anne Arundel County Police say a man grabbed a woman as she took items out of her vehicle, then fled without taking money.

ODENTON, MD — An Odenton woman was confronted by an armed man as she unloaded items from her vehicle Thursday night, according to Anne Arundel County Police.

The attempted armed robbery was reported just before 9 p.m. in the 700 block of Harvest Run Drive in Odenton.

The victim told police that while she unloaded her vehicle, an unidentified man approached her. The suspect grabbed the victim and pointed a handgun of unknown make and caliber at her, and demanded that she give him her money.

The suspect ran from the scene in an unknown direction, without taking any property. Authorities say the victim was not injured.

Police used dogs to search the area, but didn't find the suspect.

The suspect is described as a black man in his late 20s-early 30s, about 5’10, with a heavy build, wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt.
