Baltimore Man Bites Officer At Maryland Live! Casino & Hotel: Police

Police said a Baltimore man bit an officer at Maryland Live! Casino. The officer was treated at a hospital and released.

The Anne Arundel County Police Department said it on Sunday arrested 35-year-old Keenan Aaron Douglas Sparrow at Maryland Live! Casino in Hanover. Authorities accused the Baltimore man of biting an officer.

HANOVER, MD — Police said a Baltimore man bit an officer Sunday at Maryland Live! Casino in Hanover. Authorities reported arresting the suspect, identified as 35-year-old Keenan Aaron Douglas Sparrow.

Officials said they were called to the business around 11:45 p.m. "for a disorderly intoxicated subject." Police added they asked Sparrow to leave and alleged he damaged casino property on the way out.

An incident report mentioned that the suspect became combative when authorities tried to take him into custody. Officials explained that they eventually restrained the man, but they informed that he bit one officer on the forearm when they tried to place him in the cruiser.

The Anne Arundel County Police Department indicated the officer went to an unnamed hospital for treatment of a cut. The write-up clarified the officer was later released and that the suspect did not report any injuries.

Authorities eventually took Sparrow to central booking for processing.
