One Killed in Crash Near Severn: Police
Police had been on the lookout for the man's truck, which was reportedly speeding in the area.

A 59-year-old Perry Hall man died Saturday evening in a crash on MD 32 near MD 175, the Anne Arundel County Police Department reported Sunday.
Robert Allen Brooks, 59, of Perry Hall Boulevard, was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
At 9:29 p.m., officers responded to eastbound Route 32, where Brooks’s 1999 Ford F-150 had slid off the right side of the road, hit trees and ejected him before coming to rest and catching fire, according to police.

Just before the crash, police had issued a “be on the lookout” notice for a speeding vehicle, which was determined to have been Brooks’s white pickup truck, officials reported.
Speed was determined to have been the cause of the crash, according to the report.

Fire department personnel pronounced Brooks dead at the scene, and his body was taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
