One Shot At My Place Bar In Odenton: Police

A man was shot in the parking lot of the Fort Meade area My Place Bar; police say he isn't talking about what happened.

ODENTON, MD — One man was hospitalized with a gunshot wound after a brawl at My Place Bar in Odenton, according to Anne Arundel County Police, why say he isn't talking to detectives about what happened. The fight was reported to police shortly after 2 a.m. Friday.

When officers arrived at the bar, 1676 Annapolis Road, they found a 35-year-old man in the parking lot suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the upper body. He was taken to University of Maryland Shock Trauma and is stable condition, authorities said.

After a fight at the bar all the customers were asked to leave. Once the bar was empty, one gunshot was heard outside the bar, witnesses told police.

Police say the victim was uncooperative and did not provide any information about the shooting. The man's name has not been released.
