Pasadena Man Killed In Severn Crash Identified By Police

Anne Arundel County police have released the name of a Pasadena man who died Saturday night in a Severn crash.

SEVERN, MD — A Pasadena man died Saturday night in a crash on eastbound Paul T. Pitcher Memorial Highway (MD Route 100) near WB&A Road, Anne Arundel County police said.

The two-car crash happened about 11:55 p.m. when a 2007 Lexus was eastbound and struck the rear of a 2007 Honda. Both vehicles came to a stop on the right shoulder area of the road, authorities said.

The driver of the Honda — identified as Kenneth S. King, 84 — was pronounced dead at the scene by members of the Anne Arundel County Fire Department, a police news release said.

The driver of the Lexus, 38-year-old Capitol Heights man, was not injured. Police did not release the driver's name.
