Looking for something to do this weekend? We have a few different options, from live music to a bit of religious history.
Friday
Patio Opening at Kaufmann's - The Gambrills tavern will celebrate the warmer weather by opening up its refurbished deck and bar. Restaurant owner Jim King will hold an interview with country singer/songwriter Ashley Forrest at 9 p.m. There will also be live music by Joe Parsons. Drink specials include $5 flavored martinis and $4 cherry bombs. 329 Gambrills Rd., Gambrills.

- Arundel High School students will direct a series of one-act plays. There will also be a performance by the Arundel Players Improv. Showtimes at 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Arundel High School, 1001 Annapolis Rd., Gambrills.
Live Music at Perry's - This weekend's entertainment includes rock band The Crayfish on Friday and classic rock and oldies from Rebound on Saturday. 1210 Annapolis Rd., Odenton.

Saturday
- From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Great Circle Quilt Club is welcoming members of the community to come and help tie lap quilts that will be sent to Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Anne Arundel Medical Center, Baltimore-Washington Medical Center or Sarah's House. Held at the Odenton Heritage Society building at 1367 Odenton Rd, Odenton.
Sunday
- Those interested in the story of Easter might consider stopping by Nichols-Bethel United Methodist Church for a reenactment of events leading up to the death of Jesus Christ. Visitors are encouraged to bring a soup, stew or chili. 12:15 p.m.- 2 p.m. 1239 Murray Rd., Odenton.
