Pedestrian Hit By SUV That Fled Scene

FERNDALE, MD — Anne Arundel County authorities say a sport utility vehicle struck a pedestrian in Ferndale Friday night, then fled the scene.

The accident was reported about 7 p.m. in the 7200 block of Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard.

Firefighters treated a 56-year-old man, who said he had been struck by an SUV which then left the scene.

Paramedics took the victim to Shock Trauma with injuries that were serious, but not believed life threatening.
