GLEN BURNIE, MD — An Odenton teenager has been charged with attempting to distribute marijuana after police detectives found him and four others sitting in a car reeking of pot Monday night in a local park, according to the Anne Arundel County Police Department.
The vehicle's owner, Amriteal Singh, 18, was arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute and several handgun violations related to the trafficking of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS), according to Lt. Ryan Frashure, an Anne Arundel police spokesman. Singh's address is listed in the 1300 block of Greyswood Road in Odenton.
At about 10 p.m. Monday, police detectives found a group of young people in a vehicle in Glen Burnie Park, at 500 Everett Road. When they approached, "they could smell the odor of marijuana coming from the passenger compartment," the police said in a statement.
