Police Identify Man Found Fatally Shot On Odenton Sidewalk
Anne Arundel County Police identified a 31-year-old Prince George's County resident as the man fatally shot in Odenton over the weekend.
ODENTON, MD — Marquell Alonso Derrington, a 31-year-old from Capitol Heights, was identified Tuesday as the man who was found fatally shot in Odenton over the weekend.
Anne Arundel County Police said the Prince George's County resident was found near the 500 block of Williamsburg Lane on Saturday.
Officers were called to the scene just before 9 p.m., finding Derrington lying on the sidewalk. He was pronounced dead not long after their arrival.

Authorities said in an earlier update on the case that the "domestic-related" shooting took place following a verbal and physical altercation outside of a home.
