Police Need Public's Help In Solving Two 2018 Homicide Cases

Anne Arundel Police are asking for the public's help in solving two 2018 homicide cases in Severn.

SEVERN, MD — Anne Arundel Police are asking for the public's help in solving two 2018 homicide cases in Severn.

The first is for the murder of 19-year-old Lawrence Aaron. On Jan. 1, Aaron was shot at a New Year's Eve party in Severn. The Columbia, Md. teen, who played college football at Marshall University, was paralyzed from the waist down. He then died seven weeks later due to complications from his injuries, police said.

The second is for the Aug. 18 slaying of Jasmine Adams. The 29-year-old Adams was found dead in the basement of her Severn home, officials said. An autopsy by the medical examiner's office ruled Adams died from numerous sharp force injuries to her upper body.

A cash reward of up to $10,000 is being offered for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the individual(s) responsible for either of these murders.
