Riva Man Charged With Stealing Brass From Hotel: Police
David Wilkinson, who was charged with similar thefts in Annapolis, is now accused of stealing from fire hoses at a Hanover hotel.

HANOVER, MD — A man already charged with stealing brass sprinkler caps from Annapolis buildings has been arrested with stealing similar items from a Hanover hotel, officials said.
The theft of brass caps that cover fire hose connectors in several stairwells occurred Dec. 16 at the Homewood Suites in Hanover, say Anne Arundel County Police.
Similar thefts were reported over the past few weeks throughout the county. Investigators learned that David Michael Wilkinson, 43, of Cedar Drive in Riva, was arrested Dec. 4 by Annapolis Police for allegedly stealing brass sprinkler caps from a marina in the city.

He was charged then with theft and released on his own recognizance.
Detectives from Anne Arundel County Police Department’s Metal Theft Unit began their investigation and reportedly linked Wilkinson to several cases throughout Anne Arundel County.

Detectives arrested Wilkinson Dec. 18 and charged him with several counts of theft, reckless endangerment, and burglary.
