ODENTON, MD — Police said two suspects robbed a woman Wednesday outside an Odenton motel. Officers reported that they arrested the partners, one of whom was a minor, after a short foot chase with one suspect.

The robbery happened around 5:56 a.m. outside the Motel 6 at 1630 Annapolis Road, authorities noted. Officials added that the suspects lured the female victim over to her car, where she had cash in plain sight, by pretending to buy a cigar from her.

Police explained that one suspect yanked the victim away, ripping her dress as she opened the car door. The other suspect then stole the cash, a press release informed. Officers mentioned that they recovered and returned the victim's money.
