Robbery Reported at Odenton Bank

Police say the M&T Bank on Blair Drive in Odenton was robbed Monday afternoon. The search continues for the suspect.

ODENTON, MD — A robber got away with an undisclosed amount of cash after holding up an Odenton bank on Monday, police said.

The robbery at the M&T Bank on Blair Drive in Odenton was reported just before 2 p.m., according to Anne Arundel County Police.

The robber showed a note to bank employees and demanded cash, police say. Once the teller complied, the suspect fled on foot.

Patrol units in car and on foot searched the area, along with a canine track and police helicopter, but the suspect was not found.

There were no injuries reported.

Police describe the suspect as a white man, about 30 years old, with a thin build, wearing a light blue shirt and wearing a black ball cap.
