Severn Fire That Killed 3 Caused By Electrical Issue: Report
Three died in the April blaze, which investigators say was caused by an electrical issue, a report says.

SEVERN, MD — The fire that killed three people at Severn's Arundel Lodge in April was caused by an electrical problem, according to an ABC7 reporter. The Anne Arundel County Fire Department retweeted ABC7.
The fire killed Walter McCardell, 61, a resident; William Garcia, 44, a resident; and Barbara Brown, 65, an employee of the home and a resident of Brooklyn, on the night of Saturday, April 21.
The fire was extinguished in about an hour by 45 firefighters from Anne Arundel County, Fort Meade and BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport.
