Severn Gas Station Robbed At Gunpoint

Anne Arundel County Police have released a surveillance image of a man suspected of holding up a Severn gas station.

SEVERN, MD — Anne Arundel County Police have released a surveillance image of a man suspected of holding up a Severn gas station. The armed robbery happened just after 11 p.m. Friday at the Shell Gas station at 2753 Rt. 175.

The store clerk told officers that a man armed with a semi-automatic handgun demanded money and cigarettes. Once the employee complied the robber fled the store. Several units, including police canine, searched the area but failed to find the suspect.

No injuries were reported from the hold-up.

The suspect is described as 5’11”, weighs between 180 and 200 pounds, and wore a dark jacket with a gray hooded jacket underneath. black handgun.
