Severn, Jessup Convenience Store Robbery Photos Released: Police
Anne Arundel County Police have released photos of a man suspected of robbing gas stations in Severn and Jessup.
SEVERN, MD — Anne Arundel County Police have shared photos of a man suspected in two weekend armed robberies at a Severn convenience store and a Jessup gas station.
The first holdup was reported about 4:40 a.m. Saturday at the Dash-In store at 7845 Quarterfield Road in Severn. Police say the suspect entered the store with a handgun and demanded the cash from the register. The clerk complied and the suspect fled the scene.
Numerous officers, including K9, responded to the scene to search the area, but the suspect could not be located. The victim was not hurt in the robbery.

That afternoon, at about 3:45 p.m., an armed robbery was reported at the Shell Gas Station on Annapolis Road in Jessup. Investigators say the suspect had a handgun, demanded the cash from the register, which the clerk turned over and the suspect fled. A search of the area by the police failed to find the robber; the clerk was not hurt.
In both cases the suspect is described as a white man, about 20 years old. Police released surveillance images of the robbery suspect in hopes that the public can identify him.
