Severn Man Charged With Stealing Truck from McDonald's

A man who parked his truck at a Pasadena McDonald's left the keys inside it -- and returned to find the vehicle missing.

A Severn man is charged with drunk driving after he allegedly stole a truck parked at a McDonald’s, according to police.

An Anne Arundel County Police officer stopped a speeding truck Thursday night in the area of Fort Smallwood Road and Bar Harbor Road in Pasadena.

At the same time the traffic stop occurred, a victim reported to police that his truck was just stolen from the McDonald’s on Fort Smallwood Road. The truck’s owner told police he left his keys inside the vehicle, and when he returned to the parking lot, his truck was missing.

Police say the driver had struck a mailbox and was extremely intoxicated. Victor Clifford Stevens, 21, of Severn, was arrested and charged with DWI, auto theft, and numerous traffic charges.
