Severn, MD - Senior Dog Sanctuary Needs Your Help

Help Zeus Regain His Strength....abandoned dog rescued by Senior Dog Sanctuary of Maryland

Senior Dog Sanctuary pulled Zeus from BARCS yesterday 11/16. He had been adopted from BARCS as a puppy, and was found by the shelter a few days ago in this condition. Zeus is severely emaciated and muscle wasted with a body score of 0.5/9, he was infested with fleas and is anemic. Poor Zeus only weighed in at 24.4lbs. Zeus seems to be unaware of his poor condition, and will shower anyone and everyone with kisses. Zeus has already become a staff favorite here at the Sanctuary, and can win over just about anyone's heart. Zeus has a long recovery ahead of him. If you would like to donate to Zeus' care, or the care of our other seniors, donations can be made here, directly to our vet (Veterinary Housecall Services in Crofton 410-923-0785), or sent by mail to the sanctuary (8336 WB and A Rd Severn MD 21144)
