Daquan Pack of Glen Burnie was sentenced Monday to prison for the murder of Patrick Dixon following an argument in Severn.

GLEN BURNIE, MD — A Glen Burnie man who spent a month evading police after he shot and killed a man during an argument in a Severn parking lot will spend the rest of his life in prison. Prosecutors said Monday that Daquan Darryl Pack, 23 of Glen Burnie, was sentenced by Judge Paul F. Harris Jr. to life in prison without the possibility of parole for first-degree murder..
On March 24, Pack was convicted for murder and related handgun charges in the fatal shooting of Patrick Maurice Dixon, 31, of Glen Burnie. Anne Arundel County Police officers found Dixon lying in the 8100 block of Meade Village Road bleeding from multiple gunshot wounds on April 1, 2016. He was taken to Baltimore Washington Medical Center, where he died from his injuries.
Several witnesses told police they saw the shooting, and identified Pack as the shooter. The witnesses said Pack and Dixon argued in the parking lot and shortly thereafter, Pack shot Dixon, and then fled the scene.
