Severn Shooting Hospitalizes 2 Men Standing Outside Market: Police
Two men were shot outside a Severn market, police said. Both victims were hospitalized.

SEVERN, MD — Two men were shot Saturday while they were standing outside a Severn market, county police said. The shooting hospitalized both victims, aged 22 and 40. Officers expect them to survive.
Authorities heard a report of shots fired at 12:30 p.m. around Reece Road and Pioneer Drive. Police said they found the victims close by on Pioneer Drive near Severn Orchard Circle.
Officers said the victims were standing in front of Orchard Food Market, located at 1159 Reece Road, when two unknown males shot at them. The suspects drove away in a white sedan.

Authorities found numerous shell casings on the scene and recovered a bag of suspected crack cocaine from one of the victims.
