Severn Woman Shot Through Door Of Home: Police

Shots fired through the door of a Severn house struck a woman in the upper torso, according to Anne Arundel County Police.

SEVERN, MD — Shots fired through the door of a Severn house about midnight Thursday struck a woman in the upper torso, according to Anne Arundel County Police. The shooting was reported in the 1800 block of Falcon Court in Severn.

When officers arrived at the scene, they learned that an unknown suspect had shot into an occupied home through the front door. Inside the home, officers found a woman who had suffered a non-life threatening gunshot wound to her upper body.

She was taken to Maryland Shock Trauma for treatment and was listed in stable condition on Friday.
