Shooting In Hanover Sends Man To Hospital, Shots Fired In Laurel

A shooting in Hanover injured a man. Shots were fired in Laurel, Anne Arundel County Police say.

HANOVER, MD — A man was shot in Hanover early Sunday morning, Anne Arundel County Police say. Witnesses told police that several people were fighting in the street and multiple gunshots were fired.

One man was injured. He was treated at UM Laurel Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries. The shooting happened on the 7700 block of Siden Drive around 12:30 a.m. Police say a bullet also hit a nearby car.

Police also reported two cases of shots fired in Laurel. One took place on Saturday and the other on Monday.

Saturday's incident happened outside a home hosting a party on the 200 block of Red Clay Road, police say. The report says that an unknown man approached the home just before 3 a.m.

He fired several shots at cars parked outside, hitting three vehicles, police say. Nobody was hurt, and the man fled, according to the report.

Police say Monday's shots were fired around 3:30 a.m. on the 3300 block of Sudlersville South. The gunfire damaged three nearby cars, police say. Nobody was hurt.
