Shots Fired On Severn Street, Car Hit

Anne Arundel County Police are searching for the suspect who fired multiple gunshots on a Severn street Monday night.

SEVERN, MD — Authorities are searching for the suspect who fired multiple shots from a car on a Severn Street Monday night, striking a parked car. No injuries were reported, according to Anne Arundel County Police.

Someone in a white Chevrolet Impala reportedly fired gunshots in the area of Meade Village Circle and Meade Village Road about 6:30 p.m. Officers found nine .45 caliber shell casings in the road in the 1700 block of Meade Village Circle. Four of the rounds fired are believed to have struck a red 2002 Nissan Altima parked on the street.

Officers searched the area with the assistance of the police K9 and helicopter units, but could not locate any suspects.
