Stolen Gun, Drugs Found In Traffic Stop: Police

Police said they arrested Maryland and Virginia men after catching them with drugs and a gun stolen from Georgia.

The Anne Arundel County Police Department said it arrested these men in Millersville on Saturday after finding drugs and a gun stolen from Georgia: 20-year-old Tylius Jacal Watson of Cumberland, Virginia and 21-year-old Twanasae Sincere Damon of Waldorf.

MILLERSVILLE, MD — Police said they found drugs and a gun stolen from Georgia during a traffic stop in Millersville last Saturday. Officers noted that they arrested a man from Maryland and another from Virginia.

A press release added that police stopped a black Acura near Veterans Highway and Brightview Drive around 11:45 a.m. Officers explained that they searched the car after speaking with the driver. Police reported finding:

  • A loaded Taurus 625 9-mm handgun
  • 142 grams of suspected marijuana
  • 25 oxycodone pills
  • A digital scale
  • Baggies
  • Other paraphernalia

Officers mentioned that they found the passenger with the stolen and loaded Glock 27 .40-caliber handgun.

The Anne Arundel County Police Department identified the arrestees as:

  • Driver: 20-year-old Tylius Jacal Watson of Cumberland, Virginia
  • Passenger: 21-year-old Twanasae Sincere Damon of Waldorf, Maryland
