Police say a Glen Burnie man stole car parts and other metal from Safety Check in Harmans.

Witnesses who reported seeing a man steal metal from a business helped catch an alleged burglar, police say.

Anne Arundel County Police were called just before 9 p.m. Saturday to Safety Check Inc., 1232 Old Dorsey Road in Harmans on a burglary in progress. Witnesses told police they observed a man enter two storage containers on the grounds and remove car parts and other metal items.
