Teachers To Be Treated To Special Offers At Arundel Mills

ODENTON, MD — Kids will be heading back to school soon, days after their teachers have already decorated their rooms, created lesson plans, set up their students' desks and planned a special welcome back activity. Arundel Mills wants to express its appreciation for those teachers with special offers and giveaways Aug. 25-31.

During a kickoff event Aug. 25, $5,000 worth of Simon gift cards will be given to the first 100 teachers who stop by with a valid school employee ID. Additionally, attendees will receive the chance to win a $250 Arundel Mills shopping spree, plus an invitation to a special “Back to School Teachers Beauty Expo” at ULTA Beauty with demonstrations and samples from favorite brands.

Teachers with a valid school employee ID also can stop by guest services for vouchers that unlock great gifts from participating retailers, while supplies last. Participating retailers include Dave & Buster's, Starbucks, Modell's Sporting Goods, Tommy Hilfiger, Yankee Candle, Reeds Jewelers, Auntie Anne's and Beef Jerky Outlet.

Each day for the rest of that week, items from a variety of participating retailers will be given away to all visiting teachers, while supplies last. Beyond this weeklong event, Arundel Mills is hosting a social media contest in which participants can write a comment about an amazing teacher who had an impact on their lives, and the winner will receive a $250 Simon gift card.

Arundel Mills is open 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sundays and from 10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
