Teen Burned In Odenton $150K House Fire
Authorities say a teen is being treated at the Johns Hopkins burn center for injuries suffered in an Odenton house fire.

ODENTON, MD — A teenager is being treated at a regional burn center for injuries suffered as he escaped a Saturday house fire in Odenton. Anne Arundel County Fire officials say about $150,000 damage was done to the home in the 8100 block of Santa Fe Drive.
Authorities say the fire began around 4:40 p.m. in the garage attached to the house, and spread into the dwelling. Two teenage residents were home at the time of the fire.
One teen suffered burn injuries and was taken by paramedics to the Burn Center at John Hopkins Bayview Hospital with injuries that are not considered to be life-threatening.

Forty firefighters from Anne Arundel County, Fort Meade and BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport responded to the blaze, which was brought under control in about 30 minutes. There were no additional injuries.
One adult and two teens have been displaced by the fire. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
