Teen Charged In Severn Carjacking Case: Police
A Baltimore teenager has been charged as an adult in a Severn carjacking, according to Anne Arundel County Police.

SEVERN, MD — A Baltimore teenager has been charged as an adult in a Severn carjacking, Anne Arundel County Police said Friday. Dionte Jamal Fauntleroy, 17, was arrested Friday at a residence in the 1900 block of Cuire Drive in Severn on charges of carjacking/robbery.
Police recovered the victim's stolen car on Monday, and evidence taken from the vehicle led officers to consider Fauntleroy a suspect. Detectives obtained an arrest warrant charging him as an adult in the case.
The armed theft took place just before 12:30 p.m. Aug. 26 in the 1800 block of LaSalle Place, where the victim said she was in the driver’s seat of her vehicle when she was approached by a teenaged boy. The teen carried a handgun, demanded the woman’s vehicle, and he then drove away. Police say the victim was not injured during the carjacking.

The suspect was described as a black male about 17 years old with a medium complexion. He is about 5’7” to 5’8” tall, weighs about 130 to 145 pounds with a thin build, and was last seen wearing a black shirt, black shorts, and black shoes.
