Teen Steals Vehicle From Outside Hanover Daycare: Police
A witness thought a child was inside the vehicle but the child was with a parent at the time the unlocked, running vehicle was stolen.
HANOVER, MD — A parent picking up a child at a day care at 7494 Race Rd. left a 2016 Buick Encore running and unlocked. A suspect got into the vehicle and drove off. A witness thought there was a child inside, but the child instead was with the parent.
The witness followed the vehicle and provided direction of travel to the Anne Arundel County Police Department. An officer found the vehicle on Dorsey Run Road and a 15-year-old behind the wheel. The teen was taken into custody without incident.
