Tractor-Trailer Overturns In Millersville, Kills Truck Driver: Police
A trucker died in Millersville after his tractor-trailer overturned on an Interstate 97 exit ramp, police said.

MILLERSVILLE, MD — A truck driver died Wednesday in Millersville after his tractor-trailer overturned on an Interstate 97 exit ramp, police said. Troopers are waiting to release the victim's name until they notify his closest relative.
Officers noted that the accident happened around 5:10 a.m. at the southbound I-97 exit for eastbound Benfield Boulevard. The truck failed to round the bend and fell down a hill, authorities mentioned.
The Maryland State Police added that the truck flipped over in a ditch, ejecting and trapping the driver. Medics pronounced the victim dead on the scene, an incident report informed. Troopers wrote that they are still investigating the crash.

The write-up explained that the Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration closed the ramp for around five hours after the wreck.
