Two Drivers Injured in Collision on Annapolis Road

Both were taken to local hospitals, says Anne Arundel County Fire Department.

Two motorists were injured, one seriously, on Monday afternoon in a traffic accident on Annapolis Road, according to the Anne Arundel County Fire Department.

Just before 2 p.m., firefighters responded to the report of an auto accident in the 1600 block of Annapolis Road near Charter Oaks Boulevard. Firefighters found two vehicles on the road with both drivers injured, the fire department said.

An unidentified 48-year-old man was transported by paramedics to Shock Trauma with injuries “that were serious, but not believed to be life-threatening,” the fire department said. An unidentified 32-year-old man was transported to Baltimore Washington Medical Center with minor injuries.
