Virginia Man Dies in Head-On Crash in Severn

A Fredericksburg, VA, man died after his vehicle was struck head-on in a crash Friday afternoon on Ridge Road near Galetown Drive in Severn.

Anne Arundel County Police say Marguerite Puls, 73, of the 1900 block of Manitou Lane in Hanover, was driving a 2009 Audi SUV southbound on Ridge Road when she failed to negotiate a right curve. Puls’ SUV reportedly crossed the center line and struck head-on a 2004 Kia Optima which was northbound.

The driver of the Kia, Ki Sung Lee, 29, of Eugene Court in Fredericksburg, VA, died at University of Maryland Shock Trauma from his injuries.

Puls and a passenger, Kathleen Embry, 67, of Cincinnati, OH, were both taken to University of Maryland Shock Trauma with non-life-threatening injuries.
