Tuesday is Election Day, and there's a lot on the ballot for local residents.
Voters across the state will face a choice for governor, as incumbent Democrat Martin O'Malley faces Republican Robert L. Ehrlich. Residents of Anne Arundel County will vote on whether to keep County Executive John Leopold in office or replace him with Democrat Joanna Conti or Mike Shay of the Green Party.
County voters will also decide on Question A, which calls for zoning changes that would allow for slot machines in the county. An approval of Question A would likely pave the way for Cordish Companies to build a new casino with 4,750 slot machines near the Arundel Mills Mall.
