2 Injured In House Fire Off Falls Road: Officials
BREAKING: A section of Falls Road is closed after two-alarm house fire that spread to a field, Baltimore County authorities report.
BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — A firefighter and civilian suffered minor injuries from a house fire off Falls Road Wednesday afternoon, according to Baltimore County public safety officials.
Firefighters were dispatched to the home in the unit block of Rises Court at 2:26 p.m., according to officials.
The incident was classified as a two-alarm fire, meaning additional personnel were called in to assist with the firefight.

The fire had extended to a field. After crews had knocked most of the exterior blaze, officials said they were moving on to the interior of the home just before 3 p.m.
By 3:30 p.m., the bulk of the fire was under control.

Officials said Falls Road was closed between Padonia Road and Broadway.
