Today's riddle: What is full of holes but still holds water? 🤔 (Answer below!)
• Baltimore County breaks ground on first public splash pad at Northwest Regional Park (nottinghammd.com) — A new 2,700-square-foot splash pad is coming to Northwest Regional Park in Owings Mills, giving local families the county's first public water play area by summer 2028. Backed by a $2 million state grant, the project also adds shaded seating, accessible restrooms with family facilities, upgraded paths, lighting, and stormwater improvements around the Ravens-themed playground.
• Ravens' defense is far ahead of the offense. That was clear in joint practices vs. Vikings (nytimes.com) — Ravens coaches and players say recent joint practices in Minnesota confirmed what they've seen all summer at the team's Owings Mills training facility: the defense is well ahead of the offense. While Marlon Humphrey and the secondary shined, the offense struggled against the Vikings' aggressive scheme, prompting calls for more polish, especially after center Danny Pinter's season-threatening knee injury.
