Assault With Scissors: Owings Mills, Reisterstown Crime
A scissor assault, slew of burglaries and other crimes were reported recently in the Franklin precinct, according to police.

OWINGS MILLS, MD — The Baltimore County Police Department provided the following information about recent incidents in the Franklin precinct. Arrests do not indicate convictions.
One juvenile was arrested after an assault involving scissors in Owings Mills. The two youths had been arguing when one assaulted the other with a pair of scissors in the 100 block of Willow Bend Drive. The assault occurred at 7:55 p.m. on Jan. 27.
A wallet was stolen from a home in the unit block of Gwynnswood Road in Owings Mills. Two strangers removed a window screen to get the wallet in the burglary, which happened at 8 p.m. on Jan. 25.

A gun and other items were taken from a home in the unit block of Waugh Avenue in Reisterstown. The burglary happened overnight between Jan. 24 and Jan. 25.
Cash, electronics and personal items were taken from the 500 block of Sunwood Court in Reisterstown, where the burglar forced open a window to get inside. The suspect also used the car keys to take a vehicle from the location. The burglary happened between 4 and 6 a.m. on Jan. 24.

Vehicles were ransacked at a home in the 300 block of West Cherry Hill Court in Reisterstown between midnight and 5 a.m. on Jan. 24. The suspect got into the residence through an unlocked sunroom and garage. Nothing appeared to have been taken in the burglary.
Merchandise was taken from Game Stop in the 10300 block of Reisterstown Road around 3:30 a.m. on Jan. 23. The burglar threw a rock through the front door to get inside the store in Owings Mills.
Someone threw a rock through the front door of the Sprint store in the 9600 block of Reisterstown Road in Garrison. Nothing was taken in the store burglary, which occurred at 3 a.m. on Jan. 23.
Electronics were taken from an apartment in the 4800 block of Lyon Heart Drive in Owings Mills. The burglary occurred through a window between 2 and 8:30 p.m. on Jan. 22.
