Baltimore Co. Woman Among 2 Arrested In MD Triple Murder
The arrests come nearly two months after three people were found dead in Washington County. A Baltimore man is also facing charges.

WASHINGTON COUNTY, MD — An Owings Mills woman is among two people arrested by Maryland State Police in connection with a triple murder and house fire in Washington County, authorities said.
Lanea George, 40, was arrested and charged with accessory after the fact to first-degree murder and obstruction of justice following the November blaze, state police said in a news release. Authorities also arrested David Chapple, 43, of Baltimore, and charged him with accessory after the fact to first-degree murder.
Shortly after 5 a.m. on Nov. 18, deputies from the Office of the State Fire Marshal responded to a house fire in the 13,000 block of National Pike in Clear Spring for a reported fatal structure fire.

During their initial investigation, police found signs of foul play after a K-9 unit alerted to accelerants at the home and trauma to the victims that were inconsistent with fire-related injuries.
Those killed in the fire were identified as 31-year-old Brittany Ray, 36-year-old Harold Flichman, and 25-year-old Brianna Mae Weishaar, all of Clear Spring. All three victims were pronounced dead at the scene.

Autopsy results from the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore revealed the cause and manner of death to be homicide by gunshot.
George is being held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center, where she awaits transport to the Washington County Detention Center. Chapple is being held without bail at the Washington County Detention Center.
