Baltimore Orioles To Sport Braille Uniforms
The Orioles will be the first pro athletic team in the U.S. to incorporate Braille into its uniforms.

BALTIMORE, MD — The Baltimore Orioles uniforms will have a groundbreaking new feature. Lettering on the uniforms within the Major League Baseball organization will be in Braille. The Orioles will be the first pro sports team members in America with Braille on their game-day getups, according to the Orioles.
Adding Braille to the uniforms is designed to honor the National Federation for the Blind, which moved its headquarters to Baltimore 40 years ago and is located less than 1.5 miles from Camden Yards.
When the O's sport their new Braille-lettered uniforms, the team will be hosting National Federation of the Blind night at Oriole Park at Camden Yards.
