The Reisterstown eatery garnered 38 percent of all votes to become Patch's Best of Breakfast winner.
After five days of voting and over 500 votes for our inaugural Best of Patch contest, readers have decided who puts out the breakfast in Owings Mills and Reisterstown.
With 38 percent of the voting (199 votes) Martha and Mary’s is your Best of Breakfast winner.
A late push in votes helped Martha and Mary’s surge past second place finisher Bubb’s Deli and Bakery earlier this morning.

“That is a testament to social media, holy smokes,” Martha and Mary’s owner Annie Derzak said when told her restaurant won the award.
Derzak said that although she subscribes to the Patch newsletter, she didn’t learn of the contest until Thursday night at her kid’s soccer game. Then, Derzak started spreading the word to other parents at the game, as well as, Friday morning’s breakfast crowd.

“I had said to some folks, if you’ve ever enjoyed breakfast here, we’d appreciate a vote, if you haven’t had breakfast here, we’d appreciate you stopping in to see us,” Derzak said.
“I would much rather get something like this in Patch. We’ve been written up before in the Baltimore Sun and the Washington Post and Baltimore Magazine, but Patch is local. That’s the people in our backyard, so that’s exciting.”
