Blackjack and Watermelon Are the Pets of the Week
Blackjack and Watermelon are the Pets of the Week at Baltimore Humane Society.Come meet them at DogFest on Saturday, Sept. 17.
This week's Pets of the Week at Baltimore Humane Society are Blackjack and Watermelon. Here's a little about each of them ---
Blackjack:
Feeling lucky? How about taking a chance on me, my name is Blackjack! I'm an exuberant young gentleman looking to find my forever home. Social, happy, energetic, loving, silly - all words to describe me perfectly. I enjoy meeting people who give me attention (you can never go wrong with a belly rub) and I like treats a lot (snacks are always great, right?) I was a part of playgroups here and I did well, but it's probably best I be the king of my new castle. I like to be the center of attention, can you blame me? I think I would make a wonderful companion, and once you meet me, you will agree! Come to BHS today and ask for me!

Watermelon:
How are you doing today? My name is Watermelon. I'm just a shy and quiet girl who was in a foster home for a bit, but has never had my own forever home. I’ve lived with other cats and kids ages 6-10. In my foster home I liked to play with crinkly cat balls. My foster mom said I was timid at first, but would warm up after some time. I just need a patient person who will give me some TLC. I dream of that happy, safe, loving home.
