Brown, Cardin and Kamenetz to Honor Fallen National Guard Members at Camp Fretterd
Lt. Gov. Anthony Brown, Sen. Ben Cardin and Baltimore County Executive Kevin Kamenetz will honor Maryland National Guard members who have died since Sept. 11, 2001, at Camp Fretterd today.

The Maryland National Guard is hosting a wreath-laying ceremony at the Fallen Warrior Memorial in honor of its 11 members who have died in the line of duty since Sept. 11, 2001.
Lt. Gov. Anthony Brown, Sen. Ben Cardin and Baltimore County Executive Kevin Kamenetz are expected to attend the ceremony at Camp Fretterd in Reisterstown.
The Fallen Warriors are:
- Chief Warrant Officer William Ruth - Died Sept.11, 2001 at the Pentagon, Arlington, Va.
- Staff Sgt. Kenneth Cropper - Died Mar. 20, 2002 at Ft. Myer, Va.
- Pvt. Carlton Newman - Died Mar. 3, 2005 at Ft. Stewart, Georgia
- Spc. Samuel Boswell - Died Oct. 14, 2005 at Al Taji, Iraq
- Cpl. Bernard Ceo - Died Oct.14, 2005 at Al Taji, Iraq
- Staff Sgt. Brian Connor - Died Oct. 14, 2005 at Al Taji, Iraq
- Staff Sgt. Michael McMullen - Died Jan. 10, 2006 from injuries he suffered in Ramadi, Iraq
- Command Sgt. Maj. Roger Haller - Died Jan. 20, 2007 in Baghdad
- Sgt. 1st Class Collin Bowen - Died Jan.14, 2008 from injuries he suffered in Khost province of Afghanistan
- Sgt. 1st Class William B. Woods - Died Aug. 16, 2009 of wounds sustained in Ghazni, Afghanistan
- Staff Sgt. Matthew A. Pucino - Died Nov. 23, 2009 in Pashay Kala, Afghanistan
