Emergency at Northwest Hospital is Drill: Baltimore County Police

County partners with hospital for training on Old Court Road.

Don’t be surprised if there appears to be a large-scale emergency at Northwest Hospital on Wednesday.

Public safety officials say they are partnering with the hospital to conduct disaster training from 8 a.m. to noon.

The drill will address a mock emergency after a bus and gasoline tanker collide, leaving an 8,000-gallon fuel spill, according to authorities.

“This is a drill,” Baltimore County officials said in a statement. “Area residents should not be alarmed.”
