Toy Drive At Funeral Home In Reisterstown A Success
Eline Funeral Home thanks the community for its donations to the toy drive.
For the month of September, The ELINE FUNERAL HOME
in Reisterstown had been collecting toys for the Sykes Toy Project.
The Sykes Toy Project was founded 23 years ago by Jean Sykes. Its
purpose is to spread the joy of Christmas to children and families who are less fortunate. Gently used and new toys are collected all year long. Any type of donation is accepted, such
as toys, stuffed animals, books, games, puzzles, craft items, etc. Each
one is carefully inspected to make sure they are not broken, missing
parts, torn, etc. During the spring and fall months the toys are
cleaned. Once cleaned, batteries are replaced, hair brushed, etc. and
then they are bagged and ready to go.
Jeff Eline, owner, expressed great interest in helping with this worthwhile project. On behalf of Eline Funeral Home, we would like to thank everyone for their generous donations. The toys
have been delivered to the Project so that they can begin the sorting
and cleaning.
