Fire Breaks Out In Owings Mills Basement: Officials

Fire was showing from a home in Owings Mills Monday night when crews arrived, officials said.

OWINGS MILLS, MD — Firefighters were called to battle a basement fire Monday night in Owings Mills, according to officials.

Crews responded to the 400 block of Woodhill Drive at 7:22 p.m. and found fire showing from the back of the home, according to the Baltimore County Fire Department.

The bulk of the blaze was knocked in the basement by 7:40 p.m., but authorities said they were checking to ensure the fire had not spread.

By 8:10 p.m., officials reported the fire was under control.

Nobody was inside, and no injuries were reported, according to fire officials.
