The Maryland School Assessment is coming around to schools all over the state in March, and Franklin Middle School in Reisterstown is ready.
To get kids ready and excited for the test, a group of teachers created a spirit video called "We Rock the MSA." It's set to the tune of the Katy Perry song, "Roar," and has new MSA-inspired lyrics. The song was sung by a group of eight chourus students. Nine more students starred in the video, along with about sixteen staff members.
The only requirements for participating in the video were a willingness to show school spirit and a willingness to act a bit foolish. The participants filled those requirements wonderfully.
