Funeral for Teen Killed in Owings Mills Crash Planned

WINDSOR MILL, MD — Mourners will gather Thursday to remember Tyree Nathan Brown, 16, who died Dec. 28.

Brown, of the 2700 block of Claybrooke Drive, was hit by a car while running across Lakeside Boulevard on Dec. 27, police said, and he succumbed to his injuries the next morning.

The sophomore at Milford Mill Academy was a football player and track sprinter who had been visiting relatives in Owings Mills the day he was hit, according to WJZ, which reported the relatives’ residence was like a second home to him. A vigil was held last Wednesday in Brown’s memory.

There will be a wake at 10:30 a.m. and funeral for Tyree Nathan Brown at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 7, at New Antioch Baptist Church of Randallstown, 5609 Old Court Road, Windsor Mill.
