Glyndon Gift Shop Receives State Recognition
The store is known for its Maryland-themed gifts.
The "tax man" is paying a visit to three successful establishments in Baltimore County, including one in Glyndon, for Maryland Day, an event celebrating when settlers first arrived on Maryland soil: March 25, 1634.
Comptroller Peter Franchot, known as the collector of Marylanders' taxes, planned three stops in Baltimore County Tuesday to honor local businesses making their mark on the state and its economy.
After visiting The Real Thing in Towson and Millstone Cellars in Monkton, the comptroller will visit Black Eyed Susan Coffee Candy Cream & More in Glyndon, which specializes in Maryland-themed gifts and gift baskets. All businesses will receive proclamations from the comptroller.
