This week's Pets of the Week at Baltimore Humane Society are Jacob and Pep. Here's what they each have to say--
Jacob:ย ย
Hello world!! I was brought to BHS by a good Samaritan police officer named Officer Jacobs because I was living on a construction site being fed by numerous people who saw me throughout the day...and if you are wondering, yes that's how I got the name Jacob. I may come across as shy at first by cowering my head down to say, "I don't know you", but once you pet me or put a leash on me I become a wiggle butt and am betting (and hoping) you will fall in love with me as quickly as the BHS staff did. I enjoy giving hugs and laying in your lap.ย Yep, I do think I'm a lap dog sometimes. Since I am still young, around 8 months, I will need help from my new family with housetraining. Iโd love to go to puppy classes. It would be a lot of fun for us to do together! I am a happy dog and am sure Iโd make you a lovable and loyal companion.ย Come to BHS soon to find out for yourself.

Pep:ย
Pleased to meet you! My name is Pep. I was originally adopted from BHS back when I was just a baby, but was recently returned because I was not getting along with one of the other cats in the home. Apparently I was okay with the male cat and played with him, but I would scratch thefemale cat. I can be an independent girl who doesn't particularly enjoy being held or picked up, but that doesn't mean I'm not a great companion! I'm not a fan of loud noises, but I really love scratching posts and cat beds fit to my size. If you're looking to put some "pep" in your life, look no further! Let's share our lives together. Stop in to meet me ASAP!ย
