This week's Pets of the Week at Baltimore Humane Society are Lena and Mason B. Here's what they each have to say--
Lena:ย ย
Hey there! My name is Lena, and I came to BHS from another shelter where I had been for over a year! BHS decided to see if they could have better luck finding me a forever home. In fact, you may have already seen me all over Facebook and other networking sites. Although I may be something of a celebrity, I don't let it go to my head! I'm a sweet, down to earth girl who enjoys meeting people. Just so you know, I can be a little shy with men - -please don't take it personally! But weโll be fine if you take things slow when you try to win my heart. After waiting so long in shelters to find my forever home, Iโd really like to be your "only child" (of the furry variety, that is.) So if you have cats or other dogs, your home just isn't the one for me. I like playing with rope toys and tennis balls, and even though I have short, little Basset legs, you should see how fast I can run in our agility yard! Although electronic fencing is okay for some dogs, itโs not the best type of fencing for me. I'm looking for a kind, happy family to share a lifetime of love and good times. So if you've got room in your heart and home for an awesome girl who will make a positive change in your life, please stop by to meet me ASAP!
