Olive Garden Should Open in January

Locals yearning for all you can eat soup, salad and breadsticks in Owings Mills will have to hold on until the New Year.

An Olive Garden restaurant off Red Run Boulevard is scheduled to open in late January 2012, said Heidi Schauer, a restaurant spokeswoman.

The future Olive Garden, at 6 Restaurant Park Drive, was formerly Tony Roma's, a cowboy-themed steakhouse. Tony Roma’s closed in early 2010.

The Olive Garden would join , and in the restaurant park on the corner of Red Run Boulevard and Owings Mills Boulevard, near the Owings Mills Mall.
